We were stoked to be able to master this surround sound creative install from Cloud 9 Records. It features Melbourne’s cycle of seasons, often witnessed all in one day as most Melbournians would know. The feature rolled for about 20 minutes and included footage synced with audio and soundscapes that were panned to different locations around the installation. Things like rustling leaves, buzzing bees and thunder were all elements that were utilised in this installation. Due to its incredibly dynamic nature, going from booming thunder from the subwoofers to the gentle sounds of autumn, we made use of level and EQ automation across all the surround sound channels to keep them tight and controlled. Feel free to watch the feature in stereo below.
